About the author
Anthony Tran
I'm the person behind Curious Hue. I write about what colors mean, which colors make them, and how to use them.
My background
I earned a BA in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University. After college I served as a captain in the US Air Force. Since then I've spent more than 13 years in marketing and web design, where picking colors that work together is part of the job most days.
I started writing about color in 2020. It began with questions I kept looking up myself, like which two colors make teal. Curious Hue is where all of those articles live now.

How I work
I research each article, check the color codes, and update posts when I find a better answer. You can read the details in our editorial process. If you spot a mistake, let me know and I'll fix it.
